1 Call Care Management Announces Company Name Change to Umbrella Care Management
1 Call Care Management, which provides comprehensive care management services throughout the entire New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, has officially changed its name to Umbrella Care Management.
“We thought it was important to have a name that better represented the broad range of services we provide to help seniors and their family members better navigate home care, housing options, and medical needs,” said Barbara Wilhelmy, President and Co-Founder of Umbrella Care Management. “Our team of certified case managers evaluate each patient’s whole picture so that we can create a plan that will maintain the patient’s wellbeing, independence, and dignity while balancing the special needs and problems of families caring for him or her.”
Care managers assist older adults and persons with disabilities in addressing issues related to health, social needs, and psychological, functional, and legal/financial issues. In addition, care managers coordinate ongoing care and serve as an experienced guide and resource for families of older adults and others with chronic needs.
Umbrella Care Management, founded in 2011 and headquartered in Warwick, N.Y., has updated its logo, launched a new, fully responsive website, and created a new marketing message - Coordinated Care Solutions for Seniors & The Disabled - in support of its new identity.
Umbrella Care Management has met the stringent eligibility requirements and rigorous testing to receive the Commission for Case Manager Certification, and is a certified member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Umbrella Care Management provides geriatric care management services and patient advocacy for seniors and the disabled throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey areas.
