What Drives Me!!
“Most of my social work career has been in the field of geriatrics where my clients have provided me a rich source of insight on how to approach the complexities of aging. Advocacy has been a large part of my social work practice but often it is not viewed as “clinical work”. Yet, I have experienced solving complex advocacy issues can be very therapeutic bringing balance in an individual’s life during a crisis. I have derived enormous satisfaction seeing a family’s level of stress reduced sometimes just doing small things”.
