Lauren Cohen
Lauren Cohen and Emma Harmon, Co-founders of LiveWell Modifications, have been occupational therapists for over 12 years, working in both hospital and home care settings. It was through this work that we realized people were not well equipped to return to a home environment that would foster independence and safety. We know that with the rapid growth of our aging population, as well as the rise in health care costs, it is clear that returning home is the most desirable option.
LiveWell Modifications serves to guide people through the seemingly easy choice of remaining in their own homes. We are committed to providing our clients with safe solutions for their home.
Lauren and Emma have been designated as Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS) through the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) since 2014. Lauren has a masters degree from Columbia University and Emma has a masters degree from New York University as well as an Executive Certificate in Home Modification Program (ECHM) of the Fall Prevention Center of Excellence at the University of Southern California. Lauren and Emma are proud members of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), and the Home Modification Occupational Therapy Alliance (HMOTA).
